Adoption Rate for a Digital Therapeutic.
LiveEstimate ElicitationWhat share of eligible clinics will prescribe the digital therapeutic within twelve months of launch?
Adoption Rate for a Digital Therapeutic is a ready-made use case for Innovation. It ships under the Estimate Elicitation template.
For innovation leads. You get each seat's low, central and high with its anchors, the pooled range and what it is not, and what would narrow it. Claims are cited or marked as gaps.

The decision
What share of eligible clinics will prescribe the digital therapeutic within twelve months of launch?
Who estimates
Adoption of prescription software is uneven. In the German directory one product accounted for 44.1 percent of redeemed codes in 2025, which shows how concentrated use can be.
| Seat | What it estimates from | Why it is at the table |
|---|---|---|
| Head of Digital Therapeutics | How readily clinics integrate prescription software and what drives repeat use.2 | Implementation experience and the Alliance’s definitions. |
| Global Brand Lead | Targeting, early adopters and the speed of word of mouth. | Market research. |
| Medical Information Services Master | The questions clinics ask before prescribing and the barriers they cite. | Enquiry data. |
| Ecosystem Intelligence Orchestrator | The digital health landscape in the clinics: record systems, partners and competitors. | Public records. |
What the elicitation does
Define eligible and prescribing. The quantity states what counts as an eligible clinic and what counts as prescribing: a first prescription or ongoing use.1
German experience as an anchor, with care. The insurers’ report on the first years of the German directory shows concentration of use in a few products. The seats say how far it applies to a US launch.1
What would narrow it. Prescribing data from a pilot, or payer coverage decisions that set the eligible base.
Recommended length
Standard
Four angles bear on the number. Standard depth gives each a seat, with the dossier and the reasons for the spread, in about four pages.
You can pick another length on the form. The other two stay available.
Assumptions the elicitation checks
The elicitation states the assumptions each estimate rests on, and says what each gap limits. Examples for this quantity:
- Clinics can prescribe the product without new workflow.
- Coverage will be available within the twelve months.
- Early prescribers will keep prescribing.
Standards, guidance and sources
The decision practice behind the memo itself is on the template page.
What gets flagged
Any adoption share borrowed from another country without adjustment, any estimate that mixes first prescription and repeat use, and any figure from a payer body with a stated position.
What arrives
- The quantity and how it is judged
- Evidence dossier
- Seat judgments
- Estimates side by side
- Why the seats differ
- Revised estimates after rebuttal
- The pooled range and what it is not
- What would narrow the range
What it will not do
The pool is a synthesis of AI judgments and not a calibrated distribution, and the seats are not weighted by performance. It does not narrow the range to look decisive.
It is not a market forecast.
It is not a calibrated probability distribution. The pool is a synthesis of AI judgments, and the report says so.
It does not weight seats by performance. No calibration record exists for the AI seats.
It does not narrow the range to look decisive.

About the Panel service
Each panelist answers in their own voice, then the discussion is drawn together. You get the question and who was in the room, every position in full, what they agreed on, where they split, and what follows. Disagreements are written down rather than smoothed into a consensus nobody actually holds, because the split is usually the part you needed.
